Ibom Airline’s Livery
Ibom Air has strongly refuted a malignant innuendo against its corporate image and its impeccable business ethics by a news medium based in Lagos, Nigeria, that the fastest-growing airline is already blacklisted by aircraft lessors worldwide.
A media statement signed by Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager, Marketing and Communication, Ibom Airlines Limited, described the news item thus, “This false story severely damaged Ibom Air’s reputation as a business with the highest corporate governance standards.”
To its business partners, suppliers and creditors, the statement reiterated thus; “We assure all our business partners that Ibom Air does not have any aircraft on lease from any lessors, foreign or domestic.”
The statement disclosed that Ibom Air “owns all seven aircraft that we operate, and they are all financed by Nigerian banks”.
It added, “Also, for the avoidance of doubt, Ibom Air is not blacklisted by any lessor, local or international, and has never been in breach of any contract into which it has entered.”
The airline highlighted that even when and where the airline was a lessee, it honoured its obligations hence, it affirmed thus, “On the contrary, the airline is in good standing with both local and international financiers and lessors.”
Ibom Air in the statement reassured its business partners of its excellent business dealings as usual and provided them comfort thus; “Our business partners can rest assured that Ibom Air continues to be committed to the letter and spirit of any agreements we enter into.
