Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu was crowned Silverbird Governor of the Year 2024.
Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, BOS, emerges among few of the firsts among the equals, at the Silverbird communications Governor of the year 2024.
The management of Silver Bird Television having set a scale by which the performances of the entire governors in each of the 36 states were weighed, the panel of judges ultimately found the performance by the peoples’ governor in the state of aquatic splendour, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, shoulder high above the others.
At a grand occasion for delivery of the Awards held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, also witnessed Governor Mbah of Ebonyi state similarly adjudged for the same honour.
Governor Sanwo-Olu on receiving the award plaque reach for his personal X handle to announce that the award is dedicated the good people of Lagos.
Sanwo-olu wrote that those who were law abiding, supported government in all its lofty programs the award was especially dedicated to them.
He also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his leadership ingenuity both in the part in the governance of the country.
Governor Sanwo-Olu wrote on his X handle thus, “I received the Silverbird Governor of the Year Award. This award is a tribute to the hardworking and resilient people of Lagos State who have supported our vision and initiatives. Your unwavering belief is what fuels our commitment to excellence.
I am grateful to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Governor and visionary architect of modern Lagos. His leadership and innovative policies laid the groundwork for our vibrant, dynamic city.
