NIWA Welcomes New Ministers, Assures of Maximum Cooperation

The Management of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his excellent choices of Mr Mu’azu Sambo and Mr Ademola Adegoroye, as Minister of Transportation and Minister of State Transportation, respectively.
Dr George Moghalu, Managing Director, NIWA, congratulated the duo for their appointment as a call to national duty to further raise the bar in the nation’s maritime operating standards and the maritime economy.
A media statement from NIWA and signed by Mr Jibril Darda’u, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, said NIWA’s management “strongly believe that both ministers will bring their wealth of experience, wisdom and knowledge to bear in the discharge of their new assignment by improving on the affairs of the ministry.”
The statement noted further that, “both appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari is a clear testimony and recognition of their competence, hard work, dedication, and sterling track record of achievements in their previous national assignments”.
The statement on behalf of the entire staff and management of NIWA welcomes the two appointees and “wishes the duo a successful tenure in office”
