GERMANY’S COVID-19 CASES SOAR BY 2,705 IN ONE DAY

The Federal Republic of Germany has announced early today, an explosion in the number of new cases of Covid-19, with the new addition of 2,705 new cases.
The announcement also revealed that 16 deaths occurred overnight which makes the death toll to jump to 47.
It was also said that the total number of Covid-19 cases Germany is now grappling with has amounted to 16,662.
The Robert Koch Institute Berlin, which made the announcement early today said that all the data giving were collected up until midnight.

The Robert Koch Institute is a German federal government agency and research institute responsible for disease control and prevention. It is located in Berlin and Wernigerode. As an upper federal agency, it is subordinate to the Federal Ministry of Health.
