Entire British Airways Crew Grounded By Monkey Pox

The entire flight crew of British Airways’ flagship London to Sydney en route to Singapore, has begun a 21- day quarantine on the island, Singapore, known as the Lion City, Singapura, the multiethnic city-state in Maritime Southeast Asia.
Singapore health officials reportedly conducted a test on the crew after landing on the island and one of them was found positive for monkeypox hence, the entire crew of two pilots and nine cabin crew were railroad into a quarantine home without much ado.
The positive test reportedly occurred when the crew was on the return leg of the flight back to the UK.
It was reliably gathered that the BA management was making frantic efforts not to allow the development filter into the public domain, ironically the issue has been the subject of discussion on social media.
However, a spokesperson for British Airways said the airline’s management was in close contact with Singapore health authorities and had offered useful information to the Singaporean health officials.
It can be recalled that recently, the UK Health Security Agency had urged that thousands of men at high risk of contracting monkeypox should present themselves for vaccination in the ongoing government program in that regard.
In the face of the protracted chaos airlines and airports are contending with in entire Europe, especially in England and Scotland as a fallout from the COVID pandemic, which has caused staff shortages in facilitation and security, and the attendant hiccups, the advent of monkeypox is no doubt another pandemic too many for aviation.
The 21 days of quarantine began on Sunday, 19th June 2022.
