The Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku, brought to a glorious conclusion on Friday. 5th of June 2026, FAAN Management Retreat, themed “Consolidating Gains and Institutionalising Sustainable Growth”.
The three-day retreat, which brought together FAAN’s senior management team, evaluated the Authority’s transformation journey, strengthened institutional capacity, and aligned strategic priorities with emerging global aviation trends and industry best practices.
Day One of the retreat focused on critical discussions on positioning FAAN for the future through sustained reforms, examined global and African airport development trends, brainstormed to enhance process standardisation and performance management across Nigeria’s airports, and advanced infrastructure modernisation and operational efficiency.
The session also provided an opportunity for a comprehensive review of progress made under the MD/CE’s transformative pillars, with emphasis on embedding sustainable growth, operational excellence, innovation, and long-term value creation across the Authority’s airport network.
