As December begins, the oldest and most reliable domestic airline, Aero, rolls out for the benefit of Nigerians, an N80,000.00k fare extravaganza from, and to all its destinations on the domestic routes from the 1st of December 2024, to the end of January 2025. Please be reminded those who book far ahead will surely bag a sure deal

Capt Ado Sanusi, the Managing Director, MD, of Aero who made the announcement, said the management thought of showing gratitude to God almighty for what he had caused in bringing the airline back to solvency, and to express appreciation to the loyal customers, informed the removal from all air travellers, hassles caused by the burden of exorbitant airfare.

He said the height of gratitude by the team in the “cockpit” of Aero airline informed the depth of the brazen fare slash to N80,000.00k, (Eighty Thousand Naira Only) flat for flying to and from all Aero’s domestic destinations.

The MD said that, in accordance to the spirit of yuletide which encourages giving, Aero management had decided to co-tow the guiding philosophy of the season by giving back to its loyal customers a highly reduced fare to and from its domestic destinations.

Sanusi said the airline is planning a massive fleet expansion from its current three aircraft to ten, with the view to bringing comfort to air travellers especially her loyal consumers who will henceforth procure a return ticket for a mere N160,000.00 which hitherto does not cover a one-way ticket to any destination but the N160k can now be paid for a return ticket from all routes on all Aero’s domestic destinations.

Further narrating the exploits and the massive turnaround attained by the airline, Sanusi said from a negative debt profile of about 69 per cent, the airline has reduced its debt overhang to a merely 33 per cent.

Capt Ado Sanusi who, by the vital statistics in the airline’s financials since 2016 which had been recording losses broke the jinx in the just concluded financial year of 2023/2024, by recording a modest 14 per cent profit.

He explained that since the airline is seated comfortably on its recovery trajectory, the management desires to improve on the tempo and planned for a capital injection from private and institutional investors.

The Aero turnaround master, Capt Ado Sanusi, narrated that with adequate capital private capital inflow, the airline will hasten its pace to generate adequate revenue in order to be able to liquidate the modest outstanding liability.

Hence he made a clarion call to Nigerians of means and others desirous of safe, secured, and profitable investment to come over for a chat with the view to place their investment most reliable and high flying airline.

He further reminded would-be investors that the airline’s Maintain, Repair and Overhaul hangar has been a bulwark of support to the airline operations which contributed largely to the airline’s current solvency.

As proof of the exploits by the MRO he said, it had been licensed to carry out maintenance on a broader type of aircraft which would translate to more airlines from African countries routing for Aero MRO, Ikeja, Lagos.
