The board of directors of Access Holdings has reappointed the pioneer Managing Director of Access Bank, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, CFR, as its Non-Executive Chairman.
Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede is replacing Mr. Abubakar Jimoh, the erstwhile Chairman, who will continue to serve on the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Aig-Imoukhuede who had chalked up about three decades of stellar performance in Nigeria’s banking and finance industry will bring his wealth of experience to bear in charting a new growth trajectory for the holding company.

Needless to say, the restructuring of the board is part of the fallout from the untimely death of Dr. Herbert Wigwe, CFR, the immediate past Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings.
Confirmed reports have it that consequent from the wider and extensive consultations with major stakeholders, the board of directors of the holding company unanimously settled for Aig-Imoukhuede to marshall the strategic growth pattern for the holding company at this time of the organization’s life.
Aig-Imoukhuede in his acceptance speech said, “I am thrilled to be back in active service to the Access Group ecosystem.
