An helicopter has reportedly crashed into a creek in Igbokoda in the Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The air crash which occurred on Monday, 5th of October 2026, reportedly came down with a loud bang which attracted fishermen and others peasant farmers in the neighbourhood to tremble and those nearby scamper for safety.
According to reports relayed by an eye witness at the bank of the river where the helicopter crashed, fishermen were the first responders who raised to the scene, but found it had to access the helicopter for a meaningful assistance to the occupants in the helicopter.
Concrete information is being expected from the Ondo State Police Command in this regard while Nigeia Safety Investigation NSIB, is also yet to provide snippets about the accident.
