ATQ Magazine to reward outstanding contributions to aviation in 2024

The 4th edition of the annual Air Transport Quarterly Magazine’s ATQ Industry Awards for distinguished individuals and corporate organizations in the entire air transport value chain will hold next Thursday, 6th of March 2025.

A media statement from the organizers said the event will take place at the prestigious Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, and will promptly take off at 11 am. It announced that the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo has graciously agreed to grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.

The media statement enthused, “We are excited to host the 4th Annual Air Transport Quarterly Magazine Industry Awards, which has become a benchmark for excellence in the aviation industry,” said Prince ‘Supo Atobatele, Publisher of the Air Transport Quarterly Magazine.

The statement highlighted that the awards ceremony will recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the sector, including:

Aviation Man of the Year: An award for an outstanding industry personality with deliberate and planned efforts toward sustaining growth, safety and industrial harmony.

CEO of the Year: An award for bold initiatives in leadership transformation.

Airline of the Year: Awarded to the airline that has demonstrated exceptional service, safety, and innovation.

Cargo Airline of the Year: Recognizing the cargo airline that has shown remarkable efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Airport of the Year: Honoring the airport that has demonstrated excellence in infrastructure development, passenger experience, and operational efficiency.

Most Innovative Agency in Weather Forecast Delivery: Awarded to the agency that has leveraged technology and innovation to improve weather forecasting and warning systems.

The event will bring together key stakeholders in the aviation industry, including airlines, airports, cargo operators, and government agencies, to celebrate excellence and innovation in the sector.
