Behavioural Impact of Aviators On the Industry’s Current Rating for Public Scrutiny

A book titled, NIGERIA’S AVIATION SECTOR: PEOPLE, BEHAVIOURS BEHIND THE PERFORMANCES, authored by Albinus Chiedu, a journalist from AVIATION MONITOR, will be presented for the public consumption on 4th July 2024, at the Golfview Hotels, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos by 11:00hrs.

The Honourable Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, is scheduled to be Special Guest of Honour at the event, while several key stakeholders in Nigeria’s aviation industry are expected to grace the public presentation of the book.

Foremost airline in Nigeria, Air Peace, its Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema will preside as the Chairman for the book launch as the Chief Launcher while, the Chairman of Interguide Group, Dr. Gbenga Olowo has graciously accepted to be the Co-Launcher.

Expected Guests of Honour include the Acting Director General, Civil Aviation, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Capt. Chris Najomo; Managing Director/CE of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, Engr. Farouk Umar, Chairman, Bicourtney Aviation Services Limited, Dr. Wale Babalakin, Managing Director. SAHCO Plc, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, Group Managing Director of NAHCO, Mr. Indira Gupta, and many other dignitaries who have expected to grace the book launch.

According to the Project Ccordinator for the publishing company, Aviation Monitor, Mrs. Okiemute Chiedu, the book will be reviewed by Dr. Richard Aisuebeogun, the former Managing Director/CE of FAAN.

The 11-chapter book is a product of comprehensive research, starting from a historical perspective, through an advocacy for the right behaviours and conduct of individuals in both the public and private segments of Nigeria’s aviation industry, exposing the dangers pose by wrong decisions and actions on the next generation of aviation stakeholders in the country.
