BREAKING NEWS: N19.4bn Fraud, Sirika Brothers Pleaded Not Guilty To FG 10 Count Charges

The former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and his junior brother Engr Ahmad Abubakar Sirika, have been arraigned in the Abuja Federal High Court today.
The Sirika brothers pleaded not guilty to the accusations levelled against them by the Federal Government, FG.
Recall that the FG through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, filed fresh, ten amended charges against the two accused brothers.
When the 10-count amended charges dated 13th May 2024, and filed on 14th May 2024, were read to the hearing of the accused, Hadi Abubakar Sirika retorted, “I am not guilty my Lord, and it is not true”.
His junior brother, Engr Ahmad Abubakar Sirika also pleaded not guilty to the accusations.
Hence the counsel to the prosecutor, Oluwaleke Atolagbe, requested for a date for the court to begin trial in full throttle.
Barrister Atolagbe also disclosed that the anti-graft agency had arranged for 12 witnesses for the matter
