Dana Air is deemed MOST INNOVATIVE among domestic operators

Among all the over two dozen airlines with operating licenses in Nigeria, Dana Airline has been adjudged the Most Innovative.
Hence, the airline was bestowed with the Most Innovative Airline Award by the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, NAAPE, at its 15th National Delegates conference, held at the Nigerian Air force, NAF Conference Center, Kado, Abuja, on Wednesday, 28th July 2021.
The delegate conference which included a Symposium and awards ceremony had as its theme, “Imperatives of Strong Partnership for a Sustainable Aviation Industry; Recovery from Covid-19 impact.”

While handing the plaque to the Chief Operating Officer, COO, Dana Air, Obi Mbanuzuo, the National President of NAAPE, Engineer Galadima Abednego, said Dana earned the award in recognition of its innovative business strategies and commitment to developing the nation’s air transport industry.
Engineer Galadima Abednego, while speaking at the event said, ”it is my pleasure and delight to present you this Most Innovative Airline Award. This is in recognition of your innovative business strategies and commitment to developing the industry.”
Responding, Dana Air COO, Obi Mbanuzuo, expressed gratitude to NAAPE for its painstaking assessment and was excited that the airline’s quiet effort was being publicly recognized. He said that, “this award is truly appreciated by the entire team at Dana Air.”
Dana Air COO said the airline had an ongoing program to further improve and increase the capacity of its engineers to achieve more exploits. He added that the program would also make immense contributions to building and developing the aviation industry.

Highlighting some of the innovations by Dana Air, Mbanuzuo enthused, ”on the innovative side of our operations, we pioneered WhatsApp booking in the industry at the advent of Covid 19, we have a self-booking kiosk located at the airport and currently to ensure that we are available to assist our customers round the clock, we have 24 hours, 7-days customer service.”
Mbanuzuo said further that, ”We have created multiple channels for seamless booking and interaction with our guests and we have more in the works. We would continue to offer our guests world-class service, safe and timely departures, competitive fares and innovative online products” he added.
