Lagos State Executive Council members are set to render accounts of stewardship of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat administration in the last year.
The Ministry of Information and Strategy is organising a month-long Ministerial Press Briefing commencing on Monday, 11th of May, 2026.
According to the media statement by Gbenga Omotosho, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, the annual event provides an important platform for Ministries, Departments and Agencies to present to the good people of Lagos State in “Facts and Figures” the achievements of the present administration across various developmental pillars of the THEMES+ Agenda. It is an opportunity to engage with Lagosians on the bold efforts at improving the welfare of all.
This year’s edition is particularly significant as it precedes the general elections. The exercise will enable the public to assess the performance of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat administration, appreciate the milestones recorded, and gain insight into the plans for a Greater Lagos.
Besides, the media engagement will further help the citizens to understand the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusive governance.
The achievements of the administration remain a clear demonstration of purposeful leadership and responsible governance.
