Ibom Air Connects, Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, With Daily Flights

Ibom Air, which barely operated for nine (9) months on the domestic terrain before the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic rented the air, will tomorrow, Monday, 14^th September 2020, commence daily commercial flights from Lagos and Abuja to Enugu.

The airline had in less than one year flew to four major cities including Abuja and has now added Enugu, the coal city, as the fifth domestic destination.

Ibom Air’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. George Uriesi, promised that travelers to and from Enugu will be treated to the excellent service and unparalleled hospitality that Ibom Air has become very reputed for within its short entrance to the domestic air travel.

The COO enthused, “the launch of our Enugu flights from Lagos and Abuja is part of our organic expansion program. Our aim is to be able to offer our trademark experience of schedule reliability, on-time departures and excellent service to a wider pool of domestic travelers across the country”, George Uriesi said.

He also said that the airline will be deploying its latest, state-of-the-art Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft to service the route

George Uriesi assured the airline’s potential guests of excellent service and comfort that is not common in this clime. He said that, “safety and customer satisfaction are at the center of Ibom Air’s operations and we will continue to work hard to meet and exceed the expectations of our teeming customers, so that they see us as their airline of first choice by all parameters”.

Uriesi also disclosed that the airline will be deploying its latest, state-of-the-art Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft to service the new route.

Ibom Air, which is owned by the government of Akwa Ibom State, began operations in June 2019. And just barely one year of its existence, the airline has elevated and redefined domestic air travel within Nigeria.

The airline of choice connects the federal capital Abuja, with financial hub of Lagos, capital of Akwa Ibom, Uyo, leisure destination, Calabar and now the South East hub of Enugu.

Should the four months of total flight suspension be discounted, Ibom Air which is less than one year can now boast of its fleet of five new-generation Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets. Ibom Air parades the youngest average age fleet of any domestic carrier in the country
