Left is, Mr. Juan Carlos Salaazar, Secretary General, International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO, Capt. Musa Shuaib Nuhu, Director General Civil Aviation, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, jointly signed Civil Aviation Masterplan, CAMP, for Nigeria.
DATELINE: Montreal, Canada
The International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO, Montreal, Canada, the regulator of air transport on the planet earth, has given its consent to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority’s, NCAA, conceived strategies to revolutionize air transport in all its facets in Nigeria.
Having brainstormed on the document, and mutually agreed on terms and the modus operandi for achieving its set objectives, the global body, ICAO, endorsed the document thus telling the world the set objective is foolproof, sacrosanct, measurable, and achievable.
Hence, the International Civil Aviation Organization, (ICAO), through its Secretary General, Juan Carlos Salaazar, signed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority’s, NCAA, “Civil Aviation Masterplan” (CAMP).

A tacit media statement by NCAA described the ICAO buy-in to the masterplan as “a major step in repositioning the nation’s aviation industry to attain its full potential and make significant contributions to the social and economic growth, and development of the most populous black nation on earth- Nigeria.
The statement added that “All relevant stakeholders within and outside the aviation ecosystem will be involved in developing and implementing the CAMP”.

Consequent to the very lack of luster the industry was subjected to by the inertia and self-serving leadership of the recent past, it is strongly hoped the implementation of the masterplan will reverse the denials and sham of the past seven years.
However, time will reveal the stuff the CAMP is made off
