Late Chief Mrs Alice Adekunbi Fadeni, 1929-2024
The Chairman, Board of Directors, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc. (nahco aviance), Dr Seinde Oladapo Fadeni, has announced the passing of his mother, Chief Mrs Alice Adekunbi Fadeni. She was aged 95 years.
In a media statement over the weekend, Dr Fadeni disclosed that his lovely mum transited unto glory on Friday, 20th September 2024.
The statement described the nonagenarian woman as beloved by all who knew her when she was alive. She was noted as outstanding for her entrepreneurial zeal and renowned for her compassion and gift of mercy to the needy far and near.
Chief Mrs Fadeni lived a life of fulfilment and died at a ripe old age in the presence of her children, grandchildren and family members.
The family said concerning its matriarch, “She will be remembered for her warmth and kindness which touched the lives of many.”
In his condolence message, Mr. Indranil Gupta, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, GMD/CEO of NAHCO Plc, described the passing of Chief Mrs. Alice as an irreplaceable loss.
Gupta said, “Our thoughts are with our Chairman and his entire family at this time. We acknowledge and indeed admire the great support and important impact Mama made in the life of his son who is our Chairman, Dr. Seinde Oladapo Fadeni. May Mama’s soul find rest with her maker,” Gupta said.
Chief Mrs. Fadeni who is survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relations would be laid to rest on a date to be announced by the family.
