Nigeria Air Remains A Fraud Hence, Stands Suspended

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, has reiterated that the suspended Nigeria Air project in all its intent and purposes was not designed for Nigerians, nor its purported ownership structure give any credence that it’s Nigerian own.
Hence, Keyamo reiterated with all emphasis at his disposal that the crappy arrangement put together to birth a contraption believed to have been named Nigeria Air stands suspended from the standpoint of the Federal Government of Nigeria, FGN.
This down-to-earth declaration was made at the ongoing ministerial media briefing to mark the 365 days of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in office.
While making the pronouncement confirming the death knell of six years of lacklustre and circles of jejune pronouncement for over twelve times announcing various launch dates during the past dispensation, Keyamo reiterated about Nigeria Air that, “It remains suspended”.
He proffered rationale for the federal government’s decision thus; “It was never Nigeria Air. It was not Air Nigeria. That’s the truth. It was only painted Air Nigeria. It was Ethiopian Airlines trying to fly our flag,” he said.
The erudite barrister at law, continued as if marshalling incontrovertible facts for a case to convince a Judge at the International Court of Justice, ICJ, why the notorious contraption by Mr Hadi Sirika, named Nigeria Air, is fit for nowhere else but the dustbin thus;
“If it is so, (that is a Nigeria flag carrier) why not allow our local people to fly our flag? Why bring a foreigner to fly our flag? So nobody should dispute that it was Air Nigeria.
Keyamo, a senior member of the Nigerian bar, further elucidated thus, “Air Nigeria must be indigenous, must be wholly Nigerian, and must be for the full benefits of Nigeria, not that 50 per cent of the profit is for another country.”
He also harped that even an uncanny observer can easily decipher that the way and manner the purported Nigeria Air ownership structure was strewn together un-ambiguously revealed that Nigeria and Nigerians’ interests were not in consideration in the highly pedestrian composition and in the entire project which was bereft of first-class thought process.
Recall that members of the House of Representatives had early last year described the project, which it was only the then minister that could talk about it, as a monumental fraud.
