Nigeria Aviation Honours Sam Adurogboye’s Honourable Exit from NCAA, Extols Handbook Unveiling

At a well-attended ceremony over the weekend in Abule Egba axis of Agege, in Lagos state, Mr Sam Adurogboye, the erstwhile General Manager, Public Relations of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, had his book unveiled to the general public with a modest social ceremony to mark his 60th birthday along with his exit from the federal civil service.
The occasion was presided over by Pharm. Kunle Ekundayo, the Managing Director of Drugfield Pharmaceutical Limited. He paid glowing tributes to the author for the good qualities he possessed that have distinguished him in all he does.
He prayed for Adurogboye’s success in all his future endeavours after paying glowing tribute to Sam’s impeccable character.
The industry bigwigs were present and those who were unavoidably absent were ably represented. The Director General Civil Aviation, DGCA, Capt. Musa Nuhu led the management and staff of NCAA in giving a befitting honour to a committed manager and connoisseur of favourable perception not for the authority alone, but of the entire aviation industry in Nigeria.
Dr Gbenga Gabriel Olowo, Vice President of Sabre West & Central Africa, was present. Also present was the author’s long-time friend and colleague in the trade who wore two caps at the occasion, Mr Tunji Abel Oketumbi, of the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau, NSIB.
Another long-time friend of Sam in the same trade, and now at the top echelon of PR, Media and Corporate management present at the event was Mr Basil Agboarumi, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Sahco Plc.
The Chairman of Air Peace, Barrister Allen Onyema, was ably represented at the occasion.
Not to be forgotten is the primary constituency of Sam Adurogboye, the League of Aviation and Airport Correspondents, Nigeria, LAAC-N. The league was represented at the event by its executive council members.
The book launch witnessed launchers enthusiastically picking copies and making generous donations in a somewhat confidential manner.
Succinctly put, the event was a grand success as guests helped themselves to sumptuous lunch and choice drinks.
From individuals, and collectively, the powerful salvo of Prayers was unleashed on Sam Adurogboye and his family and his new endeavour henceforth, and to continuously experience divine blessing and prosperity on all fronts.
