Oke-koto/Agunbiade intersection road becomes passable, motorists, commuters urge to be safety conscious

The Lagos State Government has opened the Oke-koto/Agunbiade intersection road in the Agege Local Government Area for public use, following the completion of flood abatement and rehabilitation of sections of the deteriorated road pavement.
A media statement signed by the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, said the rehabilitation and construction works were executed by the state Ministry of Works & Infrastructure and Office of Drainage Services.
The statement said the improved segment of the road had begun increasing the vehicular capacity of the intersection for improved traffic management of the corridor.
The State Government expressed gratitude to motorists for their patience and cooperation during the period of rehabilitation of the road and urged them to obey the traffic rules during the yuletide period and beyond.
The media release said the government had directed all relevant traffic agencies, especially LASTMA to ensure the free flow of traffic along the axis while wishing Lagosians compliments of the season and a happy celebration.
