He was once a Special Assistant, Strategy/Special Duties, Office of Special Adviser to the President, on Social Development and Special Duties, State House Villa. 2012- 2015

Kunle Yusuff was appointed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Zonal Board Commissioner representing South-West in the Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, Abuja, 2012- 2016.

Based on his contributions towards community and social development policies, especially on youths’ empowerment programs, Kunle Yusuff served on several National and State committees and seated on the board of some reputable indigenous companies.

The Federal Government of Nigeria conferred on him the prestigious National merit award of Member of Order of Niger (MON), in 2013.

The distinguished technocrat also served as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Oyo State Government on Sustainable Development Goals, SDG, 2019- 2023.

Hon. Fakeye, a graduate of Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts. He was once a Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the former Oyo State Governor, Alhaji Isiaka Ajimobi (of blessed memory) from 2011 to 2012.
He obtained his MBA in Tourism Management from the University of Cumbria, Lancaster, UK, in Partnership with Robert Kennedy College, Zurich, Switzerland.

Kunmi cut his teeth in the travel business in 1977 when he joined Nigeria Airways as a flight attendant.
In 1992, Kunmi Fakeye was engaged in the USA by American Express Travel Services as TRAVEL MANAGER, 1992 – 1996. His tasks included booking tickets, arranging travel for World Bank executives, visa procurement, and protocol services. Without an iota of doubt, Hon Kunmi Fakeye is a man of many parts whose track record reveals he has acquired mastery at multitasking. Presently, he’s the Country Director of Tourism and Hospitality Development in Nigeria for, Africa United Consulting, Lisbon, Portugal, since July 2019 to date.

He is a tourism development and hospitality consultant, promoting direct foreign investment to the tourism and hospitality industry in Nigeria. He’s also a Senior Advisor for Blueprint Global Consulting Group, BGCG, in the Americas and West Africa.

Hon. Fakeye belongs to the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agency (NANTA).
