Smart Adeyemi hails PMB for appropriating N3billion for Kogi West roads

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, Senator Smart Adeyemi, representing Kogi West, has given kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari, for appropriating N3billion in the 2021 Appropriation Act for construction of Kabba-Egbe-Ilorin and Kabba-Iyamoye-Omuo roads.
In the Appropriation Act released by the Federal Government, the sum of N2billion is earmarked for Kabba- Egbe- Ilorin road, and N1billion for Kabba-Iyamoye-Omuo road.
According to a statement by the Kogi West Senator, he said the budgetary provision was just very adequate for the construction of those two major roads in the Kogi West Senatorial District.
Recalled that Senator Adeyemi had in his electioneering campaign promised that no stone will be left unturned in the struggle to ensure that roads in Kogi West get adequate Federal attention.
A media statement by Senator Adeyemi’s legislative aide, Chief Olowo Cornelius said, “this decisive initiative has changed the hitherto unpleasant narrative and I am particularly happy that you, Mr President, made this possible”.
Moreover, Senator Adeyemi expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello, for his commitment to noble courses with the potential to take Kogi State to the next level.
Adeyemi appealed to the good people of Kogi West not to relent in their support to the APC both at the State and Federal levels.
