TRUMP EXTENDS DURATION OF ISOLATION TO 31ST APRIL, AS COVID-19 THREATENS 2.2MILLION AMERICANS

The Covid-19 devastating effect has taken so much toll on the world’s superpower as the death toll in just New York City, USA, has reached 728 deaths overnight and it keeps doubling within 24 hours while a total of 52,318 infected cases within NY city alone have been confirmed.

Observers of the pandemic as it reared its ugly head in US, said New York accounted for over 30% of the casualties in US and about half of the confirmed incidence of Covid-19 infection, in the US.

As a result of the Spike, the New York Governor, Andrew Mark Cuomo, a barrister at law, announced at a media forum that, President Donald Trump had approved the construction of four additional temporary hospital sites in New York City, with the view to boosting the state’s supply of hospital beds by 4,000.

It will be recalled that President Donald Trump had earlier said he was considering imposing a quarantine on New York, New Jersey and Connecticut in a bid to clamp down on the Coronavirus devastating outcome which has been seen as a clear and present threat to mortal man.

However, in what obviously was a drastic measure to safe lives, President Donald Trump announced the extension of social distancing to the 31st of April, 2020.

At a media conference today, Trump announced that if nothing drastic is done, about 2.2million people may die and the $2.2trillion investment in the social and business buffer would go down the drain.

He also announced a new 30-minute test result kit being introduced to the American market which is expected would be an important tool to get data on the virus promptly and accurately.
