Tech Savvy TTPL Eager To Streamline Truck Movement At Apapa, TinCan Ports Axis

A fervent appeal has been made to both the federal and state governments to give the nod for the revolutionary e-solution to truck mobility challenges as newly embedded in the Eto app namely, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) or simply put, E-tags; and the E-Call-up Interchange Transaction Number (EITN) which, if adroitly harnessed will nip in the bud, arbitrary truck movements within the Lagos ports, and such aberration will be put in check, and not rear its ugly head again.

This poignant appeal is contained in the 3rd-anniversary media statement by Trucks Transit Parks Limited, TTPL, a novelty firm well-grounded in generating innovative truck mobility solutions powered by information, communication and technology, ICT.

The statement asserts that as soon as approval is transmitted from the appropriate arm of government, the two new components to be deployed via a new Eto app, will in no time streamline truck movements within Tin Can, and Apapa ports, and its fallout shall translate to improved security, effective and efficient access control, as well as prevent illegal crisscrossing of trucks between terminals.

TTP has not only eased congestion but also provided solutions that maximize business opportunities for stakeholders while taking cognizance of the environment but ensuring the reduction of carbon emissions and improving efficiency, the statement said.

Another issue dwelt upon in the 3rd-anniversary media statement is strategic partnership with both the private and public players, especially the regulators of the maritime industry and public transportation in Lagos state.

In the statement signed by Nancy Nnamdi, the spokesperson for the firm claimed that “TTP recognizes the importance of strategic partnerships with both private and public sector players in the maritime, infrastructure, and technology subsectors. These partnerships will enable TTP to deepen its value-adding services and contribute further to the growth and development of the industry”.

The statement also quoted the Chief Executive, CE, to have pledged thus, “TTP is committed to actively seeking strategic partnerships with stakeholders across various sectors to drive innovation and create sustainable solutions, stated Ọnwụbụarịrị.
