Las Vegas Police Department in the United States, US, has announced the arrest on Friday, 29th September 2023, of a 60-year-old prime suspect in the murder of the foremost protagonist of rap music, Tupac Shakur, 27 years after.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill, from the Las Vegas Police Department, announced the arrest of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, aka, DKD.
According to Sheriff Kevin McMahill, the 60-year-old culprit arrested will bring a sigh of relief to the cops and to the people of Las Vegas after 27 years of painstaking scouting for the assailant.

Steven Wolfson, Las Vegas’s district attorney, who has since been working on the case of Tupac’s murder, said the team of detectives “never surrendered” (quoting from one of the lines in 2pac’s rap songs) in the quest to find the truth.
Wolfson described Tupac as a music legend although he was murdered at age 25 on the night of 7th September 1996.
Wolfson however, held up the indictment against Duane Keith Davis, DKD, now in police custody.
