The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation has obtained two dedicated telephone hotlines- 09020009000 or 09020004000- to facilitate public feedback and complaints on issues concerning the activities of the transportation ministry and its officials.
According to the media statement signed by Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, Commissioner for Transportation, Lagos State, the dedicated lines were provided for use by members of the public due to “the importance of fostering transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in governance”.
The statement explained that “the phone numbers will provide citizens with a direct channel to express their concerns, report grievances, and provide valuable feedback on transportation-related matters”.
Osiyemi enjoined “Members of the public to utilize this service responsibly by providing accurate information and details when lodging complaints or sharing feedback”.
The Commissioner assured the good citizens of Lagos State that the “Ministry is committed to addressing all inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively”.
As a repetition for emphasis, the hotline telephone numbers for lodging complaints and providing feedback are 09020009000 or 09020004000.
Succinctly put, the telephone lines are exclusively for providing accurate information, situational reports and enquiries.
