United Nigeria Airlines Progressing in Uniting All Regions & Tongues

The United Nigeria Airlines’ (UNA) management resolve to unite the North Central with the North West was actualised via an inaugural flight from Abuja to Jihar Katsina (Hausa)/Leydi Katsina (Fulfude), on Monday, 10th March 2025, and of which was reliably learnt that the connection will be sustained
The safe landing of the flight at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport in Katsina was another testimony to the high-flying airline’s “flying up” to its credo—uniting the nation/people.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s presence at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport to receive UNA’s maiden flight to the ancient city, was an eloquent testimony of the airlines’ acceptance by the entire North Western Nigeria.
The governor was accompanied by top state government functionaries, including commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, local government chairmen, and board members of the state government’s corporations.

Other dignitaries who witnessed the smooth landing of the aircraft were high-ranking members of the Katsina State traditional council, leaders of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the state and the Igbo community leaders in Katsina State.
Dignitaries on board the flight were the airline’s Founder, Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, OFR; Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (Odumeje); former Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Bello Masari; APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashiru; Deputy National Secretary, Barr Festus Fuanter; National Vice Chairman (North West), Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad.

Others in the 175 seater aircraft included the APC National Vice Chairman (North Central), Muazu Bawa Rijau; National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Sulieman M. Argungu; Deputy National Financial Secretary, Hon. Hamma’adama Ali Kumo.
The entourage included the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Diro Meseko; Former Minority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Onyebuchi Offor; and Director of Administration, United Nigeria Airlines, Linus Awute, OON, mni, among other dignitaries.
