Warri Port Activities Experience a Meteoric Rise, Despite COVID-19 Pandemic

Activities at the Warri port is beginning to experience a recovery as vessels of various dimensions are ready to berth whil others are already waiting to load and sail out.

According to the Nigerian Port Authority, NPA, Shipping shipping bulletin, four vessels namely, MT Kowe, is conveying 7,595 metric tons of PMS; MT Capt Gregory is laden with16,000 metric tons of PMS while MT Matrix Pride, is carrying 15,000 metric tons of PMS and are awaiting at Fairway Buoy to discharge.

The Port bulletin, Shipping Position further announced that a vessel, MT Abiola, is also waiting at the Fairway Buoy to load 12,000 metric tons of crude oil.”

The bulletin revealed that a total of “nine vessels conveying petrol, diesel, frozen fish, DPK, and Bitumen are also being expected at the Delta ports.

It further listed some of the vessels being expected to include: MT Tornado, Orchard, Ihem, and MV Frio Nereus among others

The Warri port however made a declaration on some four vessels: “MT Leon Herc, MT SL Aremu, MT Biskra and MT Safe Sea Neha 111 conveying DPK, PMS, Bitumen, and PMS respectively”
