Passengers are expecting the call for boarding
Air Peace Airlines has appealed to its numerous customers throughout its nationwide network, especially those affected by the flight disruptions on Tuesday, 9th of September 2025, to bear with the airline as safety and the passengers’ peace of mind in-flight and on the ground will never be compromised for anything, not even profit.
The statement by the airlines’ spokesperson, Osifo-Whiskey Efe, explained that the disruption of flights on Tuesday was caused by the very heavy downpour experienced in Lagos, the city of aquatic splendour.
As the downpour got persistent, the airline issued an appeal statement, thus, “Due to the heavy downpour of rain in Lagos this morning, some flights across our operating networks will be delayed”
The statement, however, explained the rationale for not daring the inclement weather, thus, “weather is beyond our control and safety remains our utmost priority”.

Efe added in the statement that, “we appeal for your understanding as we manage the disruptions as best as we can and get you to your destinations safely”.
And that promise the airlines fulfilled as the situation was well managed and passengers were airlifted to their destinations as soon as favourable weather conditions prevailed.
The airlines reiterated its credo thus, “At Air Peace, safety is not just a priority but a core commitment”.
It reminded both its domestic and international travellers that Air Peace “remains dedicated to upholding the highest safety standards for our passengers and crew”.
Moreover, travellers are advised that for further clarifications or enquiries on flight schedules and other concerns, they can reach the airline via callcenter@flyairpeace.com
