BOS in hospital: consoles the injured, sympathizes with bereaved families, commends emergency responders

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has paid a visit to the accident victims of the staff bus that collided with a moving train this morning, at the PWD interchange linking Ikeja GRA, en route government secretariat, Alausa.

The Governor described the present medical administration to be applied as a triage, where cases are promptly profiled and attended to quickly.

Sanwoolu thanked his fellow contestants, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor, and Azeez Olajide Adeniran, for visiting the hospital to also commiserate with the Victims and the State Government.

Hence, he announced the suspension for three days, his re-election campaign, and declared half-day work for tomorrow, Friday, 10th March 2023, for all civil servants in Lagos State. Sanwoolu also ordered that all flags be half hoist

Sanwo-Olu thanked the LASEMA, Security agencies, Staff, and Students of LASUTH for their compassionate response to the emergency.

Mr. Governor also thanked the Staff of the Lagos State Government for showing up for their loved ones and also encouraging them to be hopeful.

*** 6 deaths (2 brought in dead, as announced by LASEMA, while 4 more died at the hospital)
*** 42 moderate injuries
*** 29 serious injuries
*** 8 mild injuries
