The Lagos State Public Works Corporation, LSPWC, has blazed the trail in excellent project performance even at a perilous time, as its scorecard for 2020 fiscal year revealed 98% of project delivery for the year under review.

The General Manager, Engineer Olufemi Daramola, gave the cheering news at the maiden staff forum of the corporation in the new year.

LSPWC management had organized the forum to collectively thank God for his mercies over members of staff collectively, to commend the workforce for their commitment which produced the sterling record and urged them not to relent on their oars as the result of a good job is more work.

As the year started with the escalation of the heinous COVID-19, this situation will no doubt require the management to be at its wits end in achieving the result.

As it is often said that when the sea remains calm, every one sails ashore with no much ado but it is in turbulent times we see dynamite of sailor.

2020 had unwittingly provided the preliminary framework for LSPWC management, the new strain of COVID-19 and its instigated lockdown, will surely not scuttle its strategy to deliver in 2021.
