Dana Airlines takes delivery of 2 aircraft from maintenance

Dana Airlines has taken delivery of two aircraft just returned from maintenance overseas. The delivery was on the heels of the one that returned to service late in December 2020, which aided the airline to barely cope with her schedule during the yuletide and in the build-up to the new year celebration.

A media statement from Dana Airline said the two aircraft were received on Wednesday, 31st December 2020, while there is another presently with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, undergoing mandatory checks before release.

Quoting the statement by the Chief Operating Officer, COO, Obi Mbanuzuo, ”the safety of our guests and crew will continue to take priority in our operations and we will continue to keep our safety standards with zero tolerance for violations irrespective of the situation or circumstance,” he said.

The airline apologized to her passengers who experienced travel disruptions during the yuletide season and pledged to improve on her known schedule integrity and overall operational efficiency.

Dana Air is one of Nigeria’s leading airlines with a mixed fleet of 9 aircraft and daily flights from Lagos to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Owerri, and Enugu.
