Dana Air has elevated two members of its flight crew to the rank of captain and urged the beneficiaries to sustain the airline’s high safety standards.

Dana Air’s Chief Operating Officer, COO, Ememobong Ettete, while decorating the Senior First Officer, Jonathan Okoli, and Tosin Ayeni, as Captains, said the two officers earned the upgrade as they were carefully examined and found to have fulfilled all conditionality precedent for the promotion to the rank of a captain.

Ememobong Ettete explained that “The rank of a captain comes with enormous responsibility. Not everyone can achieve this feat because you have to prove yourself over time and pass all the necessary safety requirements and training to be promoted to this rank”, he said.
