Travellers making use of the nation’s airports have been assured of an exciting airport experience they will soon begin to savour, when the innovative consumer experience project begun will start to crystalize.

The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mrs Obiagelli Orah, gave the assurance while playing host to the newly elected executive members of the League of Airports and Aviation Correspondents of Nigeria, LAAC-N.

Obiagelli Orah said the present management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, managers of about 22 airports in Nigeria, under the able leadership of the Managing Director, Mrs. Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku, is poised to exhibit responsible leadership which will cascade into prompt, secure, courteous, and quality service delivery to passengers and all other bonafide airport users.

She vowed that as soon as the innovation still in the incubator is hatched, passengers will begin to savour airport experience far better than what previously obtained.

Orah further explained that when the innovation finally gels, passengers will enjoy the real value for their hard-earn money, as the experience they will be confronted at the airport will be so potent and turn passengers into influencers for FAAN and the airports FAAN manages.

She said plans are afoot to provide a shot in the arm for cargo management as there is a new directorate saddled with the task of unlocking a vista of novelties in cargo management and its attendant improved revenue.

Orah acknowledged that there were some fine systems met on assumption of office by the new management but the ongoing innovation is bound to cause some form of adjustments in nearly all the directorates.

She emphasized that the ultimate goal is for the consumers to have, top-notched experience and the nation would begin to be seen in a new refreshing perspective through the positive experience they would encounter at the airports.

Obiagelli Orah however, noted that the management of FAAN now finds itself in a position to perfectly ensure a delicate balancing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda, with Mr Festus Keyamo, the Aviation Minister’s five points trajectory for air transport in Nigeria, and yet distill them all to impact on the much -touted innovation envisaged for airports, especially the international airports in the country
