Managers of the Nigerian airport chain of about 28 terminals, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, (FAAN), have reassured air travellers of excellent airport experience during the Easter period and beyond.
A media statement signed by the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affair, Faithful A. Hope-Ivbaze (Mrs.), promised passengers of seamless facilitation at the airports during the season.
The statement said the usual upsurge expected in passengers and aircraft movement during this period will efficiently be managed in a way that passengers’ passages will be smooth and hassles free.
The media release said it “wishes to assure passengers and other airport users that our network of airports was fully prepared and ready for the usual upsurge in passenger traffic that is the norm around the season.”
FAAN therefore further “reassured all passengers and airport users of safety and security, as all necessary security architectures have been mobilized and activated at our airports,” the statement claimed.
Hence FAAN advised “passengers to endeavour to leave for the airport early enough, so as to ensure that check-in formalities are concluded in good time.
