Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has announced that the popular Pen cinema bridge will be commissioned on Saturday, 20th February, for the glorious use by Lagosians.
Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the hint at the Lagos Economic Summit dubbed, 2021 Ehingbeti, at the Eko Hotels And Suite, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Sanwo-Olu referred to the bridge reconstruction and upgrading as a direct result of brainstorming from the previous Ehingbeti talk shop, a few years ago.

He highlighted various benefits that cascaded from the cerebral discussions at the Ehingbeti over the years, such as the success achieved from the numerous Public-Private Partnership ventures the state government had embarked upon for the greatest good of the greatest number of people.
Sanwoolu noted that the numerous social and economic infrastructure developed and others being developed and are now of mutual benefit to government and Lagosians, were mooted at the Ehingbeti summit.
Those numerous benefits he said were an indication that the Lagos government does not limit its scope of collaboration as long as they will take Lagosians to the next level, socially and economically.
