Sen. Hadi Sirik, Aviation Minister, welcomes the leader of the team that delivers the ANS equipment

The Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, has taken delivery of one of the nine (9) units of RPA-200MC mobile 3D primary radar equipment on behalf of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, NAMA.

Hadi Sirika on his verified Twitter handle announced thus, “This night I received one out 9 Primary Radar equipment to be procured. This procurement will ensure both willing & unwilling aircraft in our airspace are promptly detected. Safety, security, and efficiency have been the focus of Buhari’s aviation since 2015.

Sirika who dubbed himself a “Buharist for life” tweeted that the Buhari administration is committed to discharging safe, secured, and efficient air transport services in various forms to Nigerians.

MOBILE PRIMARY RADAR, A COMPLETE WASTE

Recall the agency saddled with the provision of precision air navigation, (ANSP), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, under the efficient leadership of Mr. Matthew Lawrence Pwajok, the Acting Managing Director, has been involved in multitasking in a simultaneous manner, with the sole goal of prompt completion of the agency’s safety-critical projects to fruition in record time.

And the approach methodology had in turn positively impacted service delivery by enhancing the provision of safe, efficient, and economic air navigation to air space users.

At a media parley, Mr. Pwajok announced that the concentration of the agency now is to capture all the low-flying equipment in Nigeria’s airspace especially those prospecting at the Niger Delta region of the country.
