IBOM AIR INKS PURCHASE ORDER FOR 10 AIRCRAFT

The forward-looking Ibom Air has signed a Purchase Order for ten brand new A220 aircraft with Airbus of Brazil at the ongoing Dubai Air show, taking place at the purpose-built DWC event arena in Dubai.
The first citizen of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, the Chief Executive Officer of Ibom Air, Mr Mfon Udom, and the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Mr Uko Udom, SAN, were all present at the event.
The signing on behalf of Airbus was done by its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Christian Scherer. The event took place on Tuesday, 16th November 2021.
The team from Ibom Air present at the air show nay the terse ceremony for signing the purchase order included, the Chairman board of directors of Ibom Air, Mr Imoabasi Jacob who led the Ibom Air team that comprised of the Chief Operating Officer, Mr George Uriesi, the Group Manager Marketing and communication, Mrs Aniekan Essienette and the Group Manager Corporate Services, Mrs Imelda Aba.
