Alhaji Mohammed Bello Koko, Acting Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA
Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has announced reshuffling some of its managers and senior managers in various directorates with the view to achieving what it described as boosting operational efficiency.
To that end, the Acting Managing Director, Alhaji Mohammed Bello Koko, had named, Mr Yitnoe Stanley Magaji, as the new Port Manager for Onne, Buba Jibril, Tin Can Island Port Manager and Ovbude Nelson Uwaifo becomes the Calabar Ports Manager.
Before their reshuffling, Yitnoe Stanley Magaji was Technical Assistant, Marine and Operations, to the Managing Director. Buba Jibril was the Traffic Manager, Lagos Port Complex, while Ovbude Nelson Uwaifo, was the Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty.
The former Port Manager, Tin Can Island Port, Engr. Yunusa Ibrahim Anji was moved to corporate headquarters as Assistant General Manager, Port Engineering, while Dantsoho M. Abubakar, former Port Manager, Onne, becomes the substantive Technical Assistant to the Managing Director on Special Duties.
The former Principal Manager, Traffic, Okaga Charles Bamidele, is now Technical Assistant, Marine and Operations to the Managing Director.
Erstwhile Principal Manager Traffic, LPC, Ileoso Akintunde Oladipo, is now Traffic Manager Lagos Port Complex while Aliyu Abubakar, former Principal Manager Traffic, Kirikiri Lighter Terminal, is now Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, Lekki.
According to the media statement that announced the far-reaching reshuffling, the postings were done with the view to render the best of service to port users and other stakeholders in the maritime ecosystem.
The statement which was signed by Olaseni Alakija, General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, NPA, further explained the postings were to re-gig port operational efficiency with the view to reposition NPA as the quintessential maritime hub in Africa, South of the Sahara.Share
