OJUELEGBA TRUCK CRASH: Lagos State Govt. Pays Condolence Visit to Bereaved Families

A high-powered delegation of the Lagos State Government has paid a condolence visit to the families of the victims who lost their lives last Sunday, in the Ojuelegba truck accident in which a 40 feet container fell on a commercial bus and killed nine persons among its occupants.

The delegation expressed the heartfelt condolences of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his cabinet, and the entire people of Lagos State to family members of the bereaved.

The leader of the delegation reiterated the state government’s resolve to ensure justice is well served in this case as everyone involved in the road mishap will be subjected to the full wrath of the law.

The delegation led by the Management of the Ministry of Transportation informed family members that the driver and the owner of the truck are already cooling their feet in Police custody.

The family members were reassured that everyone found culpable will be prosecuted based on the forensic investigation carried out by the Government.

According to the media statement by the transportation ministry, the families were happy to receive the delegation saying they appreciate the sympathy conveyed during this time of deep grief.
