The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative, ASRTI, a renowned Non-Government Organization, NGO that saddled itself with the duty of watchdog of the developments in the air transport sector of Nigeria’s economy, also bringing the issues therefrom into perspective with the global trend, and with the view to influencing global best practices in the domestic space; will be hosting its first Business Breakfast Meeting, BBM, for the first quarter of 2023.
This quarter edition of the usually highly seminal seminar will be bringing a novel dimension to the intellectual discourse. It probably will be the first time a none industry player will be addressing the highly informed and distinguished audience that often graces the event.
Succinctly put, the topic the guest speaker is expected to dissect and offer a prognosis is, “Aviation in Nigeria Beyond 2023 Elections: Prospects & Challenges”.

No doubt the coinage of the theme subsumes that a quick glance at the prevailing condition of air transport in Nigeria will come to the fore. To expect is also a forecast perhaps of ways and means to surmount impediments, and continue to flourish beyond the fast-approaching general elections.
The discourse would also be expected to take cognizance of possible expectations from each of the major gladiators jostling for the Presidency. It is inevitable one of them would be sworn in come 29th May 2023 hence, it will be wise to figure out what likely approach any of the contestants may adopt if emerges victorious
Hence, Prof. Pat Utomi, a renowned economist, banker, media practitioner, politician, businessman, and corporate boardroom player, will be doing justice to the topic in a more empirical manner than in theorem.

Although a professor versed in a broad spectrum of social, economic, and political issues, he is sure to present a sort of a salad approach recipe in his delivery.
Expected are case studies and also tested and proven theoretical frameworks that can be borrowed and adapted by his audience in their operating environment.
