Electric Trucks. Latest Acquisition by Sahco
Sahco has blazed the trail in the acquisition of electric trucks, the latest in automobile technology which is environmental friendly, and of zero toxic as it does not emit even an iota of carbon monoxide.
The new fleet of Ground Handling Equipment were manufactured by Charlatte Manutention, the world number one ground handling equipment manufacturer based in France.
A statement by Sahco said, the electric tractors require little maintenance and use rechargeable batteries thereby making them cost effective compared to diesel powered tractors.
The electric trucks are also said to be of high ergonomics as they are designed with the view to making maneuvering on the ramp easy which is essential to provide safe, speedy and efficient services to clients.
The statement also revealed on the durability of the equipment tthat, “the tractors are rugged, reliable and suitable for the rugged terrain of the Nigerian climate”.
Succinctly put, SAHCO is the first Aviation Ground Handling Company in Nigeria to acquire this latest model of technology.
SAHCO is involved in aviation ground handling services that include but are not limited to Passenger Handling, Baggage Handling, Ramp Handling, Cargo Handling, Warehousing, VIP Lounge services and Crew Administration.
