Gunmen on the prowl in Northern Nigeria, making gradual incursions to South West and South East.
Terrorist groups terrorizing most parts of the North East have sacked residents at the official quarters of the Federal Airport Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, in Kaduna and have made an incursion to the airside of the Kaduna International Airport.
An eye witness who resides at the quarters reported that the terrorist group got access to the quarters at the wee hours of the day and made for some of the houses.
The group that invaded the quarters were seen terribly armed as some of them mounted the RPG in this latest onslaught.
The eye witness account who crave anonymity reported that a staff of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, an engineer and his entire family members were abducted.

Also reported as a victim of this latest attack was a staff of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NIMET, whose wife and children were reportedly abducted.
In another resident, stains of blood littered the premises which had given cause for serious concern to fellow airport staff who resides in the quarters.
Our source revealed that the armed group made for the airport and headed straight to the airside of the Kaduna airport.
However, havoc done within the airport if any, could not be immediately ascertained as our source was overwhelmed with the safety of himself and his family members.
The scenario was described as very tense as incessant salvos from various kinds of automatic guns were fired indiscriminately that forced everyone to stay indoors.
Others wondered if armoured tanks were not deployed in this particular attack which reek of heavy military ammunitions.
Telephone calls to the airport manager and head of security were not returned.
However, in the midst of these ding dong between the military and the terrorists, the Nigerian Army Troops with close air support had neutralized a notorious bandit leader, Rufa’i Maikaji, and dozens of his fighters on the wanted list of security forces around the fringes of Malul Forest in Igabi LGA of Kaduna State.
