Eid al-Fitr Celebration: air travellers assured of hassles free facilitation at FAAN Managed Airports

Air travellers that will be making use of airports managed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, during the Sallah celebration, have been assured of comfort and smooth facilitation.
The airports’ manager, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, in a media release reiterated her readiness to effectively cope with the expected surge in both the passenger and aircraft movement in all of its terminals nationwide during the festive period.
According to the statement signed by the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Faithful A. Hope-Ivbaze (Mrs), it assured of seamless facilitation and beefed up security for her “highly esteemed passengers during the Sallah celebrations and beyond”.
The statement affirmed that all facilities at the terminals to make for a pleasurable airport experience are in top-notched as “all other logistics have been upgraded and strengthened to provide” impeccable services to the esteemed passengers.
The statement thus appealed that, “travellers are enjoined to look out for directional signage at the Airports for guidance, as well as abide by all safety and security instructions at the Airports”.
While savouring the Sallah celebration and there is a need for air travel, passengers are also urged to leave their houses, hotels or offices in good time enough to arrive early at the airport and complete necessary boarding paraphernalia in a relaxed manner and avoid a stressful condition
The media statement however noted that “we will also like to re-state that receiving of dignitaries at restricted areas by security agents and airport officials is prohibited and anyone found wanting will be prosecuted”.
