Disembarkation from the United Nigeria Airlines Aircraft
The United Nigeria Airlines, UNA, has announced with a great aura of satisfaction that it has clinched the International Air Transport Association, IATA, safety standard certification which is widely known as IOSA Safety Audit.
A media statement by UNA quoted the IOSA’s Senior Vice President, Operations, Safety, and Security, Mr. Nick Careen, to have issued a letter announcing the airline’s successful registration as an IOSA Operator under the IATA Operational Safety Audit Program.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of United Nigeria Airlines, Mazi Osita Okonkwo, said the IOSA certification is a major achievement for the airline.
He said it was no mean feat to have successfully scaled the hurdles within two years of operation and attained such global standards in the airline’s operations, processes, and procedures.
Okonkwo said the certification was an eloquent testimony to the set goals and objectives of UNA from its debut two years ago.
The COO said the IOSA certification merely affirmed the resolve of the airline to take on regional and international destinations in not too distant future.
He, however, expressed gratitude to the great Team United Nigeria that worked diligently and tirelessly to prepare and follow through with the audit processes.
The passengers were also appreciated for their loyalty and confidence in flying the UNA and pledged the United Nigeria Airline will continue to be cherished through quality service and schedule integrity.Share
