West Link Boss to Preside over LAAC’s 25th Talk-shop in a Fortnight

Distinguished managers of air transportation, tested and proven trainers with hands on the job, investors, technocrats and numerous others prospecting in the aviation value chain have noted the 28^th July 2021, in their diaries exclusively for the bespoke talk-shop being put together by the League of Airport And Aviation Correspondents, Nigeria, LAAC-N.

The theme of the International Conference is, “Nigeria Aviation Industry: Management, Policy and Regulation.” Different interest groups have described the theme as very germane for critical self-examination of the industry. Others said the theme will provide a barometer by which Nigeria’s preparedness to effectively and efficiently cope with the post-COVID-19 challenges would be measured.

Hence a distinguished industry player in the person of Capt. Ibrahim K. Mshelia, Chairman, West Link, and a Member Royal Society of Engineers, (MRAeS), UK, has graciously agreed to preside over the talk-shop slated for Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.

Also agreed to stand and be counted at the epoch-making 25^th edition of the international conference of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents in Nigeria, LAAC-N, are the Chairman/CEO of Air Peace, Barrister Allen Onyema, the Managing Director/CEO, Medview Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, to mention but a few.

Other players in the industry that will contribute to the no hold bare discourse on the poignant theme of the international conference are the Chairman, Governing Council, Nigeria Aviation Safety Initiative (NASI), Capt Dung Pam. Also, the Chairman, Association of Aviation Ground Handlers (ACHAN), Mr Olaniyi Adigun, and the General Manager, Total Nigeria Plc, Mr Rabiu Abdulmutalib, will all deliver papers at the LAAC conference

The good news is that all the aviation agencies of the federal government led by the aviation ministry, have all severally pledged to give due attention to the event and use the occasion to showcase each agencies accomplishments and their works that are still in progress.

Succinctly put, the Ministry of Aviation has indicated interest to be part of the event, all the aviation agencies namely, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Accident Investigation Bureau-Nigeria, (AIB-N), Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, and Nigerian Meteorological Agency, (NIMET), have all given the nod of approval to be fully involved in the whole arrangement.
